I.D.E.S. Saint Johns 98th Annual Holy Ghost Celebration

On Sunday June 21st & 22nd 2008 our 99th annual I.D.E.S. of Saint John Inc. Holy Ghost Festival Celebration will take place at 1670 Orchard Ave. San Leandro

On Saturday June 21st 2008 at 6:30pm the organization and their outgoing Queens will exchange crowns in the yard in front of the chapel.

We will then have a presentation of the new Queens in the hall. Music will be played for anyone who would like to stay and dance and is open to the public.

On Sunday June 22nd 2008 he parade will line up at the I.D.E.S. hall at 10am and leave the hall for a mass to be held at 11:am at Saint Leanders Catholic Church. After the mass the parade will return to the hall and serve a free traditional meal of Sopas E Carne, everyone is invited to attend. At 4pm a free dance will be held and is open to the public. The celebration will also include game booths and an auction. Everyone is invited to attend. At 4pm music will be played in the hall for anyone who would like to stay and dance and is open to the public until 8:pm
